My Right Foot

Overview

How do you live your life in four short years?

This is the question actor and writer Michael Patrick is faced with after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease - the same disease that killed his father. It all started with his right foot but has spread to his upper body and Michael must adjust to his rapidly changing reality. However, a new drug trial offers hope. A true story about disability, perseverance, and living life to the full.

A new one-person play from the team that brought you My Left Nut and The Tragedy of Richard III.

Published alongside the production at the Dublin Theatre Festival opening on 7th October, transferring to Lyric Theatre, Belfast.
